Therapist, Helper, Leader, Dreamer, Beach Lover, Joy Finder, Friend, Wife, and Mom

Tiana Joy Gooden, LCSW

I earned my Master of Social Work from the University of Cincinnati and my Bachelor of Social Work from Indiana University.

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 25 years experience specializing in relational and emotional therapy. I am providing online therapy to women in Florida, Texas, and Oklahoma who are ready to let go of anxiety, sadness, grief, stress, and overwhelm and start creating a regulated, connected, authentic and passionate life. I believe in self-compassion, life balance, and self-care, and I love to help others create joy in their lives.

My approach is relational, down to earth, non-judmental, and supportive. I work to meet my clients “where they are” and to help them to get where they want to be. I believe that everyone struggles at times with feeling stressed, overwhelmed, and “lost at sea”, and I would love to help you anchor, and work towad the clarity, confidence, and calm within yourself to find healing, peace, and set sail toward joy again!

I am certified in Ocean Therapy and my therapeutic approach is guided by research that shows that ocean therapy (and exposure to water through being near, in, or under water, known as “Blue Mind Theory'“) engages sensory pathways, invites presence, and reactivates our body’s capacity for calm, connection, restoration, and healing. It is through my own recent personal experiences with chronic stress, life changes, and loss and grief that I discovered the benefits and healing of connecting with nature and water. It recalibrates our nervous system and strengthens our mind and body connection.

I specialize in nervous system focused care and use trauma-informed and somatic principles along with additional evidence-based techniques like Mindfulness, Positive Psychology, Client Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Systems Theory, and Strength Based Therapy. I possess a holistic perspective to therapy that focuses on building healthy relationships and boundaries, both with self and others, as well as finding the skills and resources necessary to enhance one’s life and become one’s best self.

When I am not seeing clients and creating joy through wellness workshops and retreats, I enjoy “being” at the beach, my morning coffee, paddle boarding, yoga, pottery, pickleball, connecting with old and new friends, decorating my home, and spending as much time as possible with my husband, daughters, son-in-laws, and my mom.

Educator, Lifelong Learner, Beach Lover, “From-Scratch” Cook, Plant-Centric, Friend, Wife, and Mom

Kimberly Peacock, Ed.D

I’m an education researcher and former Assistant Professor at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UT Health San Antonio). I hold a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of Southern California (USC), a master’s degree in counseling, and I am a certified health coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN), specializing in lifestyle-based approaches to optimal health. My work has spanned education, healthcare, and public health systems, allowing me to bridge research, practice, and real-world impact.

I served as a co-investigator on an innovative Teaching Kitchen (TK) program in collaboration with the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, the Samueli Institute, the Culinary Institute of America (CIA), and the Department of Defense. Through this work, I developed a deeper understanding of food as a foundational intervention for health—one that nourishes the body, supports metabolic and immune function, and contributes to overall well-being. I came to understand that even the smallest moments can become extraordinary through food, creativity, and love. Whether gathered around the table with friends and family or enjoying a quiet moment alone, each dish honors the beauty of everyday life.

At the heart of my work is a guiding philosophy inspired by the ocean: life is shaped by daily choices, not a single defining moment. At times, it can feel impossible to find the space to chase your dreams—like you’re swimming against a relentless tide. But you have this one beautiful life, and it deserves to be lived as fully and freely as the open sea. I believe each of us can wake up and change our own course, but it requires a daily, intentional choice to set our sails.

I adopted a plant-based lifestyle more than a decade ago. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to collaborate with chefs, clinicians, and researchers who recognize food as a powerful tool for health and well-being. Today, I welcome any opportunity to host—whether for a birthday, anniversary, new beginning, or simple weekend gathering. Each occasion becomes a way to bring people together, celebrate life, and demonstrate that plant-based meals can be both deeply nourishing and genuinely satisfying.

Like tides shaping the shore, small, intentional steps in how we eat, gather, and care for ourselves can gently change our course. Through plant-based living, I believe health, joy, and purpose flourish when we nourish the body, welcome connection, and trust the current of our own becoming.

Although the ocean is where I go to recharge and recenter, my kitchen is where creativity and transformation unfold. It is a space for nourishment, meaningful conversations, and deeper connection with those I love. My hope is to inspire others to begin their own wellness journey through small, intentional changes, while honoring that each path is personal and unique.

When I’m not preparing for wellness workshops or coaching individuals to prioritize their health, you’ll likely find me in my kitchen testing a new recipe; on my yoga mat, grounding myself and reconnecting with my breath; walking along the beach at sunrise; savoring a good cup of coffee; at the dog park with my two beautiful Goldendoodles, Molly Rose and Maggie Sue; curled up on the couch watching the latest Netflix series with my steady anchor, my husband; or cherishing a FaceTime call with one of my three grown children (ages 30, 28, and 26).

This is just the beginning, and it’s only going to get better from here.

Whether you are looking for traditional talk therapy, ocean therapy, health coaching, or a more immersive and transformational healing exeperience, we invite you into a space of safety, connection, and restoration.

Our connection with other people is only as solid and deep as our connection to ourselves.
